Adobe Flash - ActionScript Advanced
Application Overview:
Adobe Flash ActionScripting
Adobe Flash is an authoring tool that designers and developers use to create presentations, applications, and other content that enables user interaction. In general, individual pieces of content made with Adobe Flash are called applications, even though they might only be a basic animation.
ActionScript code allows you to add interactivity to the media elements in your document. You can use ActionScript to add logic to your applications. Logic enables your application to behave in different ways depending on the user's actions or other conditions.
Users:
Current users of Adobe Flash ActionScripting including Programming, Creative, Design and Web Development Professionals as well as anyone who needs to enhance their existing Flash skills to enhance interactive websites, rich media advertisements, instructional or training media, Flash presentations or online games.

Course Overview
Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia) uses a programming language called ActionScript, enabling us to create highly interactive, multimedia-based websites, product demos, learning materials, and much, much more. Since both ActionScript and JavaScript are based on the same ECMA Script syntax, fluency in one easily translates to the other. However, the client model is dramatically different: while JavaScript deals with windows, documents and forms, ActionScript deals with movie-clips, text fields and sounds. This course will not only guide you, step by step through projects that explain not only what is happening, but why and how.
